Five Care Pillars
Axis Balance
We examine how balance from the jaw extends through the neck, spine and pelvis.
Start the axis-balance self-checkOUR APPROACH
How SOIAN approaches axis balance
Rather than looking only at the painful area, we examine how the body’s central axis is responding. The TMJ, cervical spine, spine and pelvis are assessed together when pain, dizziness, facial asymmetry or nervous-system tension keeps returning.
A connected axis from the TMJ to the pelvis
Although the TMJ is small, it interacts with the neck, shoulders, spine and pelvis. One-sided chewing, clenching, or twisting after an accident can affect the whole axis.
Find the link between recurring symptoms
Headache, dizziness, tinnitus, facial asymmetry and neck or shoulder pain may appear separate, but sometimes share a common pattern of central-axis tension.
Structure, function and constitution together
Acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, FSC functional-system Chuna and TMJ balancing therapy are selected according to the patient’s findings. Care is not limited to repositioning bones; muscle, meridian and nervous-system responses are also assessed.

If discomfort in the jaw, neck, shoulders or spine keeps returning, it may be useful to assess the body’s central axis rather than only the painful area.
